People are often looking for unique timepieces. But, they have to be able to wear them in any occasion. The Tissot pr50 Chronograph Watch was made just for this person.
The black dial is protected by a scratch-resistant-sapphire window. The bezel is stainless steel and stationary. In addition, a stainless steel band contains a fold-over-clasp-with-double-push-button-safety for security. There is a date marker at the four o’clock position that glows in the dark. It is very easy to tell the time since the hands glow in the dark as well.
“Very happy with the style and quality… You won’t find a better quality watch for the money anywhere.”
It offers quiet movement and a great price. The hands and markers are very bright and long lasting. It is very well-crafted and a simple design and long lasting. This watch is heavier than some other models. Also, it can be difficult to the remove the pins, if you should need to reduce the length. The band also tapers sometimes.
The look is understated but well crafted and very high quality. It is genuinely a great value if you want sapphire crystal. The simplicity will allow you to wear it at anyplace at anytime.

Tissot PR50 Chronograph Customer Comments:
I have been enjoying this watch for a few weeks and I really like it. It has a semi heavy solid feel to it, comfortable, and expresses great quality. The saphire crystal is a plus. A very nice watch for the price, can’t really get anything less if your looking for a solid watch with a saphire crystal.
Pros:
Quiet and accurate movement
Glow in the dark hands last a long time
Sapphire dial won’t scratch
Cons:
Links are difficult to adjust (Might be able to use a needle to get it out if your feeling confident)

The Tissot PRS200 chronograph isn’t quite as popular as the Tissot PRC200 chronograph, it’s a little bit cheaper and in my opinion doesn’t look quite as nice. Despite this it is still a great quality watch that deserves to be in a higher price bracket.
“I’ve had this watch for nearly 4 years now and it has been very reliable and has remained water resistant for all this time.” – Nick
The PRS200 case is slightly larger than the PRC200 and the case is also thinner at 10mm. It of course has the same chronograph functions which work flawlessly.
Tissot PRS200 Features:
Precise Swiss-Quartz movement
Scratch-resistant-sapphire crystal
Case diameter: 41 mm
Stainless-steel case; Black dial; Date function; Chronograph functions

Tissot PRS200 Consumer Review By Thomas:
I bought this watch ten years ago. I wear it 15 hours a day- every day. It literally still looks new! Has some fine surface scratches on stainless face and band but you have to look close to see them. Once a year I change the battery (most any decent jewelry store), and a couple of times had to get a new pin to attach the band to case. Ten years and that’s it!
- I have been a restaurant manager all of these years. My watch takes about as much abuse as you’re ever going to give a watch. I bang this watch hard (on a daily basis) on just about any surface possible including steel, concrete, rock, glass, etc. There is not a single scratch on the sapphire crystal.
- The only time I have ever had to reset the time is when the battery is dying. Otherwise it matches the clock on my cell phone exactly.
- I’m constantly washing my hands at work. I swim with watch on, etc. No issues with watertight.
- Trying to think of more praise! Oh yeah, it looks great, solid feel, etc. Pix online don’t do it justice. I couldn’t decide between black face and “Sapphire Blue.” Finally got the blue one which has some kind of finish to the dial face (ceramic?) that makes it pearlescent in light- very cool! Now that I noticed it online in black for $274 I’m seriously contemplating getting that too!
- Do yourself a favor and don’t buy any more “disposable” $50-200 watches without a sapphire crystal. They may keep working for years but they look like crap in 6 months (if you wear your watch in an “abusive” environment).
- Tip from jeweler- once a week spray it with windex and wash it off. Makes stainless sparkle and gets rid of grime.
- Conclusion- just about the best $400 I can remember spending on any product!
Who’s this watch for:
Someone looking to make an impact with their watch, who isn’t quite up to confronting the excessive price tags of other brands. It’s a watch that looks more expensive than it is which is great. Also, if you swim at all this watch will be fine to wear in the pool, excellent water resistance and no reports of damage.
It’s quite a hardy piece of technology so you’ll have it for a long time, a very reliable watch. You’ll be able to wear it in your everyday activities/exercises, whilst still looking great in social environments.
Pros:
1. Sapphire glass
2. 200M/660FT water resistant
3. Chronograph features
4. Rotating bezel dial
Cons:
1. Some people have complained about battery life

The Tissot Prc200 Chronograph watch is definitely easy on the eyes. The three chronograph dials are easy to read because of the yellow hands that stick out in contrast to the black background (or blue your choice!).
You may have mistaken the big yellow hand for the seconds hand, but it is actually the chronograph timer. The seconds are shown in the bottom dial in the background, differentiated from the other two dials with its white colour. All this combined with clean lines and stainless steel construction makes it one sexy watch.

Tissot PRC200 Chronograph Customer Review:
“Large, heavy man’s man watch. Gets plenty of looks and the bracelet is just beautiful. Keeps excellent time as most quartz movements do. I use it as an everyday casual watch and have banged it numerous times, the sapphire crystal remains scratchless. Thought about buying another or collecting all three colors.
This watch could be improved if the night illuminators didn’t take so long to charge. Also it lacks a perpetual calendar but the date is easy to change and only has to be done once every two months.
Try this before spending $2000 – $5000 on breitling, tag, omega.”
Overall the Tissot PRC200 Chronograph watch is just a great buy. A great price for a great watch, under other brands you could end up paying 4 figures for this sort of work. The dial is made out of sapphire which is completely scratch resistant and adds another level of quality to the watch. Other than that; it looks great, works great, what else is there?
